The Innovation Center is thrilled to introduce our new Cybersecurity Pathway, a golden opportunity to embark on a transformative journey in the world of cybersecurity! IC has partnered with Grow with Google and EnterpriseKC to bring additional resources to the region and access to career opportunities at no cost to individuals in Northwest Kansas. The demand for cybersecurity professionals is expected to increase by 35% before 2030 and it is our goal to fill as many of these positions as possible!
EnterpriseKC’s Talent Platform includes The Assessment Tool to help uncover cybersecurity aptitude, and The Talent Exchange, which is an ecosystem for talent to connect with industry and explore relevant workforce opportunities. Their Heartland Cyber Range will allow individuals to gain real world experience while learning, practicing, and defending against current threats in a simulative environment.
This self-paced program is expected to take 10 – 12 months to complete and participants will receive personalized guidance every step of the way.
Once the program is completed, participants will qualify for positions such as Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Analyst, Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, Information Security Analyst, IT Security Analyst, and Cyber Defense Analyst.
