Want to apply for a grant to support your childcare project, but don’t have the time or expertise? The Innovation Center provides two contractual childcare grant writers to help with this process.
Grantees (the organization or individual applying for the grant) will work with Childcare Program Specialist Dana Stanton to develop the needed details for their childcare project including a grant budget. Each grantee is responsible for completing a grant information sheet.
The 2025 NWKS Childcare Conference is tentatively scheduled for August 4 & 5. The 2025 conference registration link will be released on December 9, 2025. Check back soon for more details.
The conference is provided at no cost to childcare providers working in licensed facilities (both home and center-based) from the following counties: Cheyenne, Clay, Cloud, Decatur, Dickinson, Ellis, Ellsworth, Gove, Graham, Jewell, Lincoln, Logan, Mitchell, Norton, Osborne, Ottawa, Phillips, Rawlins, Republic, Rooks, Russell, Saline Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Thomas, Trego, Wallace and Washington.
The conference will include 16 hours of KDHE approved training for participants. The 16 hours includes 4 hours of CPR/First Aid.
Meals are provided to participants.
