MakeMyMove Focused on 13 Counties to Attract New Residents

The Innovation Center is excited to share an update on the MakeMyMove initiative—a recruitment tool aimed at attracting remote workers to the Northwest and Central Kansas area. This initiative simplifies the process of finding one’s ideal living environment into four steps: explore offers, express interest, get approved, and relocate with support. This year, MakeMyMove has narrowed its focus to 13 counties in Northwest and Central Kansas, intensifying efforts to promote relocation incentives and highlight community assets.

“MakeMyMove provides incredible insights and incentives for people looking to move to this area of the state,” said Calan Landreth, Workforce Program Specialist at the Innovation Center. “I do not anticipate any challenges. The MakeMyMove staff has been extremely clear, helpful, and passionate in their approach to working alongside us.”
