Want To Build A New Home?

Kansas Housing Cooperative Program Could Help

Housing continues to be a critical concern for the people of Northwest Kansas. Without the injection of new properties, we stifle our community’s ability to attract new families, grow our tax base, and build a desirable place for residents to call home.

That’s why the Innovation Center created the Kansas Housing Cooperative Program – to encourage new home construction in Northwest Kansas.

Through this program, we’re offering forgivable loans to homeowners who choose to build a new house in a community of 10,000 or fewer.

Together with our partners, developers, and our citizens – we’re working to fuel our region’s dreams and build a booming Northwest Kansas.

Kansas Housing Cooperative Program aims to:

  • Enhance housing availability
  • Improve living conditions
  • Stimulate economic activity
  • Promote home building
  • Buy down cost of construction
  • Provide down payment assistance
