Business Services Program Shows Strong Start in 2024
The Business Services program is excited about a strong performance for the first half of 2024, highlighted by a huge increase in client count and progress toward its annual goals. This program offers tailored solutions, expert advice, and resources to entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journey. The business services program director would like to share more about what has contributed to the success.
In the first half, the Business Services program provided support to clients at various stages of their business development journey. This included assisting established businesses, guiding those in the registration process, and supporting those the early stages of business formation. Additionally, some clients advanced to seeking capital, which could result in a substantial infusion of resources into the local economy.
The goal is to increase the number of clients in our region from 127 to 225 by the end of 2024. As of June, the program has reached 189 clients. Thanks to the hard work of the business services team and strong community partner referrals. The Kansas Small Business Development Center (SBDC) lead center personnel have also been instrumental in supporting client growth.
“The data shows that our strategies are working. We will continue to build on this strong start to drive further success,” said Joe Leroux, Business Services Director at the Innovation Center.
